Previous events Rejseholdet Danmark Rejseholdet Denmark presents Danish folkdance in a good spirit and at a quick pace. They provide shows in Denmark and overseas and is always ready to pack the suitcases. As the famous Danish fairytale writer H.C.Andersen once wrote "to travel is to live". Rejseholdet Denmark is a group of young folkdancers aged 18-40 years. Their shows are made up from dances from 1700 and 1800. It is important to them to give their shows great entertainment value by variation in the choise of steps and dances but also by using choreography. They come from all parts of Denmark, Aalborg in north to Aabenraa in the south and Ringkoebing in the west to Copenhagen in east. Rejseholdet Danmark visited Belgium in the Easter where they performed at the nursing home RTV Sint-Anna in Koersel and in the Wijnegem Shopping Center; one of the biggest shopping centers in Belgium. www.rejseholdet.dk STORYTELLING MARATHON Storytellers from Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom would showcase the musicality and diversity of European Languages in their fairy tales, legends and myths. This day, organised in cooperation with Pantalone also featured live translated video-stories, jam sessions and the possibility to record your own stories. Partners in the project were EUNIC and Pantalone.
